Loggerhead Insurance, a Florida-based provider of homeowners insurance, has partnered with insurance core technology provider Socotra to offer replacement coverage to customers who will receive non-renewal notices from Progressive Home. Progressive Home plans to non-renew around 115,000 policies in Florida, and Loggerhead stepped in to provide an alternative for these customers. Loggerhead will be able to offer uninterrupted coverage through its partnership with Socotra, which provides the technology for Loggerhead’s policy administration system. Loggerhead plans to send policy offers in early 2024, with policies taking effect from May 2024 onwards.
