Checkatrade has selected Superscript, a small business and startup insurance distributor, to provide insurance to its members. The partnership aims to offer custom-built insurance to Checkatrade’s 47,000 members, who are required to be insured as part of the commitment to meet The Checkatrade Standard and vetting checks. Superscript will deliver the service through a co-branded digital journey, using its proprietary technology to provide tailored insurance from its full range of covers in five minutes or less. Members will have access to human support through a team of customer support specialists and a dedicated online customer portal, offering instant access to documents and proof of cover. The covers available include public liability, employers’ liability, personal accident, tools and equipment, contract works, and professional indemnity.
